Week 3 : When is a billboard not a billboard?

Have you ever experienced whenever you see a billboard but it is not a billboard instead? If you are not, then you must see the picture below. This is one of the work invented by Lead Pencil Studio (Seattle). This un-bulletin board is created near the American/Canadian border.

“The sculpture is made from small stainless steel rods that are assembled together to create the negative space of a billboard. while most billboards draw attention away from the landscape ‘non-sign II’ frames the landscape, focusing attention back on it.” — A.M.
